Enlightened Canines! Rescue Ambassadors (a.k.a. Volunteers/Fosters
Ambassadors/volunteers are literally the back bone of any rescue organization! Alot of times ambassadors work tirelessly to help the needy dogs, and to help promote and make their rescue a success. Alot of times these ambassadors put their own family and pets on the back burner to care for the sick, abused and needy dogs they foster. Enlightened Canines! Rescue & Rehabilitation is looking for dedicated, hard working ambassadors. We are not asking for anyone to give up their lives to volunteer for us, we are just asking if there is something you do, that you think will help us, we welcome you to our pack and would appreciate it!
All Ambassadors will need to attend an orientation! Orientations are 2 weeks long. We will cover training methods, handling methods, feeding practices, pack walks, etc.
Always in need of Foster Homes! Foster Homes allow us to pull unwanted dogs from the shelter and give them a life, living in a family environment. We will never place an aggressive dog into a foster's home! We understand you are not equipped to handle such cases! Only well tempered dogs will be placed into a foster home situation. A meet and greet with all members of the family, including pets, before the foster dog can be taken home.
What we provide to our foster homes:
All veterinary medical care to our rescue dogs
Food for our rescue dogs (If available)
Crate (If available)
What you provide:
Exercise, Leadership and Affection

*Walking dogs
*Calling potential adopters
*Home Checks
*Training
*Socializing
*Foster Homes
*Feeding
*Grooming
*Evaluations at shelters
*Pick up from shelters
*Taking pictures of our rescue dogs

*Promoting our rescue
