Dog Training
Here at Enlightened Canines! Rescue & Rehabilitation we strive to provide the best training & socialization for our foster dog's. Most of our foster parents meet up with us at a local park in Riverside or Moreno Valley for training. Often times, we get in people who have dogs with behavioral issues that we help so they "keep" their dogs! We don't want more dogs ending up in the shelter system, so we offer training and advice to help with the situation! If you are finding that you may need help in the dog training/behavioral area, please email us and we will be happy to help with what we can. Please join our online training meetup group at : http://www.meetup.com/InlandEmpireDogTrainingMeetup/ for training dates and fees per class. Price ranges from $5 to $25 depending on workshop/seminar!
Our training methods:
We believe in using natural methods that dogs can understand. We use alot of dog psychology versus human psychology. We consider ourselves "balanced trainers." We will administer a correction, either verbal or physical and also train with treats. We like to give our dogs a clear understanding of what we want from them. If an undesirable behavior is being exhibited we will give a correction, be it verbal or physical (collar/bite) correction, depending on the individual dog and their needs. We are very fair in our corrections to the dogs. We cater to every dog as an individual and will develop a program that fits your dog's needs. We do not want the dog to see us as a pushover or treat dispensers, but respect us as a pack leader that is fair and gives rewards when they behave appropriately and obediently.
